The mysterious Slipknot poster campaign has reached London, and MetalTalk found one of the striking red posters on Braithwaite Street in East London.
Featuring little more than Slipknot’s unmistakable Tribal S logo and the address UNLOCK.SLIPKNOT1.com, the posters form part of a cryptic international campaign that has already sparked intense speculation among fans.
Similar posters have been reported across North America and elsewhere in the UK, with sightings connected to cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Mexico City, Bogotá and Buenos Aires. Knotfest has also confirmed that the campaign has extended into the United Kingdom.
Visitors to the website are invited to enter their email address, first name, city and postcode or ZIP code. Once registered, they are taken to a page featuring a burning Slipknot logo alongside the numbers 09 28.
The obvious interpretation is that something will be revealed on Monday 28 September 2026. The page also features audio from Insert Coin, the opening track from Slipknot’s 2019 album We Are Not Your Kind.
Is A Slipknot Tour Announcement Coming?
The strongest speculation currently surrounds a new run of Slipknot live dates. The fact that the sign-up page asks fans to provide their city and postcode has inevitably fuelled suggestions that the campaign could be connected to upcoming shows, ticket information or geographically targeted presales.
Nothing has been officially confirmed, however.
The appearance of posters in East London adds further weight to the possibility that any forthcoming announcement could include the UK rather than being restricted to North and South America.
Whether that means a full tour, standalone arena dates, a Knotfest-related event or something else entirely remains unknown.
What About New Slipknot Music?
New music is also part of the conversation following Slipknot’s surprise release of Arsenal earlier this month. The track marked the band’s first new material in three years and their first release featuring drummer Eloy Casagrande.
However, guitarist Jim Root later confirmed that Arsenal will not appear on Slipknot’s forthcoming eighth album, explaining that it was simply a track the band finished sooner while work on the album continues.
That makes an imminent full album announcement on 28 September less certain and has pushed much of the current speculation back towards live activity.
For now, Slipknot are keeping their cards firmly hidden.
But with posters now appearing on the streets of London and a very specific date looming, fans will not have long to wait.
