Jack Osbourne and his wife Aree Gearhart have announced the birth of their second child together – a daughter named Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, a tribute to Jack's late father, Ozzy Osbourne.

The baby arrived on March 5, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces, marking the fifth daughter for the television personality and producer. Ozzy Matilda's name honors the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, who died in July 2025.

The couple revealed the news in a joint Instagram post introducing their newborn to the world. "Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne," the caption read.

Ozzy Matilda is the second child for Jack and Aree. Their first daughter together, Maple Artemis Osbourne, was born in July 2022. No word on if little Ozzy is gonna grow up to be a legendary menace while putting out some of the most important music to ever grace the genre, but here's hoping! Congrats to Jack and Aree.

Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. His family announced that he passed away at home. In the years leading up to his death, Osbourne had struggled with serious health problems, including Parkinson's disease and complications from earlier injuries and surgeries.

His official cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest caused by a heart attack, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease contributing factors. Just weeks before his death, he performed a farewell concert in Birmingham, England, reuniting with his original Black Sabbath bandmates for the first time in many years.

After his death, tributes poured in from fans and musicians around the world who recognized his huge influence on rock and heavy metal music. A funeral procession took place in Birmingham, where thousands of fans lined the streets to honor him as his hearse passed landmarks connected to Black Sabbath's history.
