After months of speculation, Metallica has officially confirmed its Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Set for October 1, 3, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31, 2026, the eight-show event continues the band's No Repeat Weekend tradition, ensuring that no songs will be repeated across Thursday and Saturday performances during the residency.

Tickets go on sale March 6 at 10am PT, including two-night No Repeat Weekend packages and single-night options. Fans can register for pre-sales, travel packages, and enhanced experiences at metallica.lnk.to/MetallicaSphere.

Sphere's state-of-the-art technology will elevate the band's live performance to new heights. With the world's highest-resolution LED display wrapping over and around the audience, Sphere Immersive Sound providing pinpoint audio clarity, and multi-sensory 4D effects, attendees will experience Metallica's catalog in ways never before possible. The residency promises classic hits, deep cuts, and surprises across the band's 40+ year career.

"About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2 back in '23, I thought 'We have to do this, it's completely uncharted territory!'" says drummer and co-founder Lars Ulrich. "This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way fuckin' psyched to go next level!"

Produced by Live Nation and presented by inKind, the residency combines Metallica's legendary live energy with next-level immersive technology, creating a unique, multi-sensory rock spectacle.
