Tanatron / 30 Years Of Death Metal Celebrated Live At Brisa Sessions #5

Brisa Sessions #5, featuring Brazilian Death Metal veterans Tanatron, is now online and it hits like a wrecking ball. Recorded in October 2025 at Doc Studio and produced by Brisa Rec, the session captures Tanatron in full live mode, alongside a candid conversation about where the band is right now and what comes next.

Formed in 1996 in Sao Luis, Maranhao, Tanatron are closing in on 30 years of continuous activity in 2026. Across three decades the band have built a reputation through touring, key appearances, and an active role in strengthening Brazil’s Heavy Metal underground by connecting scenes and bands from across the country.

Tanatron’s discography includes the self-titled album Tanatron (2017), plus earlier releases Trivial Chaos (EP, 2008) and Primitive Behavior (2003) all helping cement the band’s aggressive, technically driven Death Metal sound.

Alongside the live tracks, the band also discuss future plans, including work on a new album. The result is a sharp document of endurance and evolution, rooted in intensity, authenticity, and a strong connection to the Extreme Metal community.
