Asia Share Live Video For ‘Only Time Will Tell’ From Asia – Live In England Album

Legendary English rock supergroup Asia have shared a new live video for Only Time Will Tell, taken from the upcoming live album Asia – Live In England, due on 13 March 13 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl. This release is from the first of three epic nights filmed at Trading Boundaries, Fletching, which MetalTalk covered here.

“Revisiting the entire first Asia album brought all the great memories flooding back from 43 years ago,” Geoff Downes said. “In the studio with John, Steve, Carl and, of course, the great Mike Stone at the production helm. I think at the time we knew we’d made a good album, but could not have predicted the enormous success that followed. That made the band a household name across the world, and particularly in America.

“That said, it was a result of much hard work and effort from everyone involved. So, when I had the opportunity to put together the live album with the current and fantastic line-up of Asia and in collaboration with Frontiers Music, it was really a no-brainer.”

The three nights in Fletching were purely warm-ups for the band’s Japanese tour and enabled them to work through various material and iron out any bugs before hitting the arenas in Japan. This really was a case of “Arena Rock Meets Restaurant,” said Michael Clifford, owner of Trading Boundaries.

The first night saw the band play the first Asia album in its entirety, and a selection of greatest hits from other albums, which will be released as Asia – Live In England. MetalTalk described the night as “outstanding”, with Adrian Stonley saying he was “more than happy to have old memories rekindled and new memories made.”

“We did this for you, the fans,” Downes said, “and hope you really enjoy hearing these songs in the live setting performed in their entirety once again and enjoy it as much as we did creating and performing it.”
