GHOST Cancel Three Different Shows Over The Next Few Days Due To Extreme Weather Conditions

If you live in the US of A, it's no secret that there's a hell of a storm blowing through the entirety of the nation, an "accumulating snow will fall along a swatch of the central and eastern United States that extends for at least 2,000 miles." And to put that into perspective – from Dublin, Ireland to Chicago, Illinois is just about 3,000 miles. So… thoughts and prayers.

In that fashion, many live events are being cancelled, and Ghost fans are not immune to those cancellations. Yesterday, the theatrical group announced that they would not be going forth with their Knoxville, Tennessee; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Greenville, South Carolina.

After several state governors issued states of emergency for their regions, Ghost issued a statement to their socials, citing the emergency warnings as cause:

"We wish to inform you due to the state of emergency issued in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and at the direction of local authorities, the GHOST shows scheduled for January 24 in Knoxville, January 25 in Charlotte and January 26 in Greenville have, regrettably, been cancelled.

"If you purchased tickets or VIP Packages through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically – no further action is needed. If you purchased through a third-party reseller, please contact your original point of purchase.

"Please heed caution and stay safe."

Hopefully, Ghost make a point to prioritise Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina on their next North American tour as they intend to keep their current touring schedule, picking back up in Connecticut on January 28th at Mohegan Sun Arena.
