Vicious Rumors, the legendary U.S. metal outfit, have unveiled the official video for "Abusement Park," a standout track from their latest album The Devil's Asylum. The release coincides with the announcement of a massive 2026 U.S. tour, marking the band's long-awaited return to the road.
Founder and guitarist Geoff Thorpe described the single as "in your face! Catchy riffs! Blistering solos, with a heavy metal and punk rock attitude!" He added that the concept of a nightmare-themed park came together during recording sessions with vocalist Jimmie Evans.
Filmed across Germany, Sweden, Florida, and Kentucky and edited by Ingo Spörl, the video captures the song's relentless energy, featuring machine-gun riffs, pounding kick drums, and a melodic, harmony-driven chorus in classic Vicious Rumors style. "We thought this song had great potential," Thorpe explains, "and it's the fourth single from The Devil's Asylum, showcasing the band at the top of its craft."
The tour, postponed earlier due to Thorpe's broken shoulder, promises to deliver a full celebration of metal. Fans can expect a mix of classic hits, deep cuts, and tracks from The Devil's Asylum, performed with the intensity that has defined the band's career.
