Josh Scogin — known for his work with '68, The Chariot, and Norma Jean — has stepped into a new creative lane, announcing that he has written a children's book titled There Once Was A Girl Who Lived For One Day.
Sharing the news on social media, Scogin explained that while the book is framed as a children's story, it's intended for readers of all ages, describing it as both a personal project and a limited-run collector's item. He wrote:
"Sooooo….I wrote a children's book (really it is for everyone of all ages) and I'm very excited about it. This is the 'soft launch' of the book. I wanted to do a very limited number of the first batch, because it might very well still have misspelled words or punctuation errors or whatever.
"So if you're a collector or if you enjoy pointing out misspelled words or if you have enjoyed my words in the past….then click the link and grab you one. Perfect for a unique coffee table book. Def a conversation starter! Limited supply. They will be sent out the moment I get them. (In January). Thank you so much for the support. Cheers."
The initial run is intentionally limited, with Scogin noting that early copies may include minor errors — a detail that may only add to their appeal for collectors and longtime fans of his lyricism and writing.
