You Could've Had GLENN DANZIG's Gross Old Fridge For Free

If you wanted a gross old fridge previously owned by Glenn Danzig, tough luck! Someone already took it. At least that's what author Dan Ozzi had to say on Bluesky.

According to a Craigslist post screenshotted by Ozzi, the fridge was on the curb for free outside the legendary (and abandon) Glenn Danzig house. The post read: "On the curb, in front of Glen Danzig's abandoned house is the refrigerator that was inside. It is covered with heavy metal and punk stickers.

"It's disgusting inside I opened it. Some collector would love this. It's funny but it is not a joke. Just go get this thing and throw it in your van or whatever. Get it before the city truck gets it!"

Unfortunately there are no pictures of the inside of the fridge, which sucks because I would love to know how gross it actually was. Ozzi also quipped that maybe the old Danzig house is headed back to the market, adding: "do i dare start a gofundme to buy it and turn it into a historical site? i did the math and if i sell ~125,000 more copies of this zine i can maybe afford it."

The house is located at 4544 Franklin Ave. Los Angeles, CA (which pops up in about a thousand articles online, so relax) and according to Zillow, was last purchased in 1989 for $275,002. The house is currently estimated to be worth roughly $1.2 million and is not currently on the market.

Unrelated to the fridge thing, but Glenn Danzig is set to close out 2025 with an Elvis Presley covers set held on December 31 at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA. I really hope whoever has the fridge shows up and asks him about it. Tickets are available nowhere because it's sold out.
