Legendary Heavy Metallers STRYPER have released their new single and lyric video On This Holy Night, taken from their long-awaited Christmas album The Greatest Gift of All, set for release on November 21st via Frontiers Music Srl.
The band describe the song as dark, heavy, and a reflection on how the world has taken ‘Jesus’ out of Christmas — fittingly released on Halloween. The track captures everything STRYPER represents, both lyrically and musically.
The Greatest Gift of All features a mix of festive classics and brand-new compositions that blend the band’s signature faith-driven message with powerful, melodic Metal. Available exclusively in physical formats, the album promises a collectible experience for fans who appreciate old-school releases.

STRYPER — featuring Michael Sweet (vocals, guitar), Robert Sweet (drums), Oz Fox (guitar), and Perry Richardson (bass) — continue to deliver at the highest level. The album follows their 40th-anniversary world tour, which celebrated their landmark release When We Were Kings and reaffirmed their influence across the global Metal scene.
Michael Sweet comments: “We have wanted to record a Christmas album for many years. Ever since we released ‘Reason for the Season’ in 1985, fans have asked for a full-length record. We wanted five traditional songs and five originals, to make it our own. We couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out!”
