Two days ago, the Honda Center in Anaheim, California posted a photo to Instagram with the caption "[9.29]," with a skull and bat emoji, and thePRP reports that the Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee also posted a cryptic teaser to their social media, but has now been deleted.

Ghost is known for their vague marketing and teasing fans before actually announcing anything, so with venues circulating ominous allusions to what fans are convinced is an upcoming Ghost tour, it isn't that far of a stretch. However, there should be confirmation at some time tomorrow as to whether or not their speculations are correct.

Ghost released a record-breaking album this year, topping the Billboard Top 200 record charts, which was accomplished due to both streaming numbers and organic physical sales. The record wasn't held for long though, as Sleep Token ended up breaking the record just weeks later with their LP, Even In Arcadia.

Led by Tobias Forge, the theatrical metal group has spent the majority of their spring and summer touring in support of the record, performing in Europe and the UK all throughout the summer before returning stateside, making appearances on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and Madison Square Garden.

The band closed out their summer of touring just this past Thursday in Palacio de los Deportes, Mexico City, which thePRP reports Ghost professionally filmed for a future live release. There were 22 songs on the reported setlist.

There are no further confirmed tour dates for the rest of the year after the performance in Mexico City, but with the ominous posts from venues across the US, hinting that Ghost may be gracing their stage, it feels like a matter of time (or maybe tomorrow) before there are new tour dates to look forward to.
