Talk about shit that wouldn't be on someone's bingo card – legendary nü-metallers Linkin Park made a surprise appearance on streamer and influencer Kai Cenat's latest livestream marathon, hosted on Twitch.
While quite random to some at first glance, the cause becomes more clear when understanding that the weeks-long stream was being conducted in support of raising funds for a school to be built in Nigeria. Hosting various celebrities on the stream in order to raise money, from Mariah Carey, to Marlon Wayans, to Selena Gomez, who are promoting their own work, boosting Cenat's viewership, and raising more money for the cause.
Linkin Park were next to join the celebrity appearance list as they performed five tracks on the livestream, starting off with "What I've Done," "Heavy Is The Crown," "In The End," "The Emptiness Machine," and finishing the quick set with "Faint."
Just yesterday evening, Kai Cenat not only broke the record for the most paid subscribers on Twitch with over 700k paid subscriptions, but he just reached his ultimate goal of 1 million subscribers after 27 days total of streaming. Apparently, SnoopDogg, eBay, crocs, StateFarm, and Bose gifted over 125,000 paid subscriptions in total, and Cenat has said his goal in general is officially complete. He's the first streamer on Twitch to ever reach that number of paid subscribers.
Linkin Park are currently on a quick break from their extensive 2025 touring schedule before picking back up in South America on October 25th, starting off in Columbia. Polishing off that leg in mid-November, the band are due to perform in the UAE – questionable – before hitting Australia, New Zealand, and Europe in late May into the end of June of 2026.
