Is This Actually A New LIMP BIZKIT Song?

Limp Bizkit fans may finally be getting a taste of long-awaited new music. The nü-metal icons have been spotted in the studio several times over the past year, and frontman Fred Durst recently confirmed on a livestream that fresh material is in the works.

Durst revealed he had recorded 10 episodes of a UFO-themed podcast, which he's currently sitting on, before casually dropping the bombshell: "We have a brand new Limp Bizkit song… and it's called 'Making Love To Morgan Wallen.'"

Now, a first glimpse of that track has seemingly surfaced. A drummer named Kristina Rybalchenko shared a playthrough video that purported to "leak" the song, with Durst himself making a brief cameo. While it's unclear if the full track will be officially released soon, the teaser is the closest fans have come to hearing new Limp Bizkit since 2021's Still Sucks.

The band has spent much of the past few years touring internationally, with Durst leaning heavily into his eccentric stage persona. If "Making Love To Morgan Wallen" is indeed the next single, it could mark the beginning of a fresh chapter for the multi-platinum act. I also really hope that isn't the name of the song, as Morgan Wallen fucking sucks. Dude's out there just polluting the airwaves with bottom-dwelling "country" garbage.

This is also record time for Limp Bizkit to put out new material, as we waited 10 full years between Gold Cobra in 2011 and Still Sucks in 2021. I'd cite the wait between 2003's Results May Vary and Gold Cobra, but the band broke up for a few years between those two… and we all like to forget Results May Vary ever happened.
