Atomic Rule, the fledgling outfit spearheaded by ex-Every Time I Die guitarist (and AEW wrestler) Andy Williams and Eternal Sleep's Travis Bennington, are set to formally introduce themselves this month.
After first surfacing live last December following some unexpected lineup shakeups, the band have now solidified their roster: joining Williams and Bennington are James Hendergroove on vocals and Kevin Boutot (Dry Kill Logic, ex-The Acacia Strain) on drums.
The group will release their first demo at the end of September, with teasers expected soon. Alongside the new music, Atomic Rule will also hit the stage this fall, including a pair of November shows supporting Better Lovers, Soul Blind, and Hong Kong Fuck You:
11/14 Athens, GA 40 Watt Club
11/15 Jacksonville, FL The Albatross
Williams reflected on the band's progress in a heartfelt statement: "@atomicruleband has been exactly how I've always wanted a band to feel like. In the past, the pieces were never all there. This feels like a team, trying to deliver their best… @jams_hendergroove is the voice I hear when I'm writing riffs. Trusting a singer has to be a priority. Having a singer feel like a brother and teammate is something new and I am here for it.
"@kevinboutot has always been a drummer that I've fawned over for years… So musical, which I've had the fortune of only working with great drummers. So this feels very familiar, but seeing his mind work without tunes is just wild. I love playing guitar in this band. We're dropping our demo at the end of September."
Stay tuned for music samples and more live dates in the weeks ahead.
