Boston technical death metal powerhouse Revocation are teaming up with Metal Blade Records, Metal Injection, and Grill 'Em All for a one-of-a-kind Meat & Greet in Long Beach, California on Friday, September 5.
Frontman Dave Davidson will be on hand at the famed heavy metal burger joint to hang with fans, answer questions, and give an exclusive preview of new music from Revocation's upcoming album New Gods, New Masters, due out September 26 via Metal Blade.
Running from 6–9pm PT at Grill 'Em All's Long Beach location (5411 E Ocean Blvd), the Meat & Greet promises an evening of riffs, burgers, and giveaways:
- Exclusive Menu Item: Fans can chow down on "Revocation Fries" — house-cut fries smothered in Heat Reaper cheese sauce and topped with bacon bits and green onion.
- Q&A Session: Metal Injection's Frank Godla will host a 30-minute conversation with Davidson.
- Raffle & Giveaways: Attendees can score free goodies from Metal Blade, Metal Injection, and Grill 'Em All.
- Exclusive Music Preview: Hear songs from New Gods, New Masters weeks before its release.
New Gods, New Masters marks Revocation's latest evolution in technical death/thrash extremity, following 2022's Netherheaven. With Davidson's guitar wizardry at the forefront, the album is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated metal releases of 2025.
New Gods, New Masters was produced by Davidson and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren (The Haunted, Spiritbox), New Gods, New Masters features guest spots from Jonny Davy (Job For A Cowboy), Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation), Luc Lemay (Gorguts), and jazz guitarist Gilad Hekselman. Artwork is handled by Paolo Girardi (Cryptopsy, Bell Witch).
