Massachusetts deathcore pioneers The Red Chord have announced a string of special performances to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album Clients. Longtime fans will have a chance to relive the chaos as the band reunites with old tourmates and new heavy hitters for select dates in the Northeast and Northwest this year.

"To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Clients album, we are excited to announce live performances! We will reunite with friends, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, See You Next Tuesday & powerhouse, Vomit Forth for northeast club shows in Brooklyn & Boston. We wish this could be a whole tour! Tickets will be on sale this Friday. Our last hometown show went quick so consider grabbing tickets early.

"We're also returning to the northwest for a one-off alongside Enterprise Earth, I Declare War, Nightmarer and a stacked Nova Void fest. On sale today! We are working on one more special show before closing the chapter on this anniversary."

Formed in 1999 in Revere, Massachusetts, The Red Chord quickly became one of the defining bands of the early 2000s deathcore and deathgrind explosion. Known for their dizzying mix of technical death metal, hardcore breakdowns, and grindcore ferocity, they helped lay the groundwork for a style that would later dominate the heavy music landscape.

Fronted by the charismatic and unpredictable Guy Kozowyk, the band earned a reputation for their relentless live shows, cryptic humor, and technical precision. Guitarist Mike "Gunface" McKenzie became central to their sound, blending chaotic riffs with moments of eerie melody.
