Following the controversial cancellation of their planned co-headlining world tour with Trivium, UK metalcore mainstays Bullet For My Valentine are forging ahead with more shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of their gold-certified debut album, The Poison. But it's happening in October and it's only three shows, so I guess that gives them enough time to work on new material?

The band has just announced an Australian leg of their Poison anniversary tour, set to take place in October 2025, with support from UK metalcore heavyweights While She Sleeps and American metalcore veterans The Devil Wears Prada. The newly revealed dates are as follows:

10/15 Melbourne, AUS John Cain Arena
10/16 Sydney, AUS Hordern Pavilion
10/18 Brisbane, AUS Riverstage

The band's decision to scrap their joint tour with Trivium earlier this year raised some eyebrows, as the co-headlining run was originally set to stretch into 2025. Trivium had been marking the 20th anniversary of Ascendancy, while Bullet For My Valentine were planning to do the same for The Poison. Instead, Bullet For My Valentine issued a statement in May, citing a creative pivot as the reason for stepping away from the tour.

"…The four of us collectively feel that the time is right for us to divert our full attention towards the next chapter of Bullet For My Valentine," said the band. "We can't wait to get back in the studio later this summer and finish what we promise you is our best album to date. To go along with this, we are already starting to make plans for the 2026 & 2027 touring cycles, hitting every corner. We are super excited to drop new music for you all. We value our fans above all else and are forever grateful for your support. We'll be back with all of you very soon."
