Death metal royalty Death To All — the tribute band formed by members of the legendary group Death — has announced a highly anticipated North American tour this November, titled The Symbolic Healing Tour. The trek honors two of the genre's most influential records: Spiritual Healing and Symbolic, celebrating their 35th and 30th anniversaries, respectively.
Accompanied by special guests Gorguts and Phobophilic, the tour will bring the legacy of Chuck Schuldiner, the visionary founder of Death, to stages across the continent — from coast to coast.
"Will Spiritual Healing and Symbolic be performed in their entirety like last year's sold-out Scream of Perseverance tour?" Hoglan teases. "Well, everyone is going to have to catch these shows for themselves to see. Will it be an incredible night of unforgettable metal, honoring the great Chuck Schuldiner, as only Death To All can do? Of course it will. Death To All stands alone."
Death To All was founded as a tribute to Chuck Schuldiner after his passing in 2001, bringing together former members of Death to perform the music that shaped an entire genre. With a lineup typically featuring alumni from various Death eras, the group channels the technical mastery, philosophical lyrics, and fearless experimentation that defined Schuldiner's career.
This tour, focusing on Spiritual Healing and Symbolic, is a celebration of Death's evolution. Spiritual Healing pushed the boundaries of death metal's lyrical scope — shifting away from gore and horror toward more socially conscious themes, like religion and medical ethics. Symbolic, on the other hand, stands as perhaps Death's most progressive and melodic statement — a masterclass in songwriting that remains untouchable in scope and execution.
