Denver is about to get a whole lot heavier. The Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver 2025 is officially set to demolish the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6, delivering two nights of extreme music and exceptional craft beer unlike anything else in the country.
Headlining Saturday night is none other than the freshly reunited sludge/doom legends Acid Bath, making their first Denver appearance in over 30 years. Their long-awaited return to the stage has been one of the most talked-about stories in heavy music this year, and this rare live appearance will be an unmissable moment for fans of their cult classic albums When the Kite String Pops and Paegan Terrorism Tactics.
Friday night sees a crushing homecoming set from Denver's own Blood Incantation, who will perform their first hometown show in over two years. Known for their mind-bending fusion of death metal and cosmic atmosphere, their headlining performance is expected to be nothing short of transcendent.
Presented by Century Media Records, the fest’s full artist lineup includes a who’s who of sonic devastation: noise rock crushers Chat Pile, New Orleans sludge pioneers Eyehategod, reunited hardcore legends Deadguy, Massachusetts chaotic masters The Red Chord performing a special 20th anniversary Clients set, atmospheric black metal stalwarts Panopticon celebrating 10 years of Autumn Eternal, the pummeling weight of Primitive Man, U.K. riff giants Conan, brutal death crew Castrator, and blackened destroyers Necrofier.
But the riffs are only half the story — this is also the most extreme craft beer festival in the world. Presented by 3 Floyds Brewing (IN), the fest’s beer and mead offerings feature an elite tap list from WarPigs Brewing, Magnanimous Brewing, Black Sky Brewery, Brimming Horn Meadery, Black Circle Brewing, Brujos Brewing, Zymurgy Brewing, Jukes Ale Works, Hammerheart Brewing, and Ratio Beerworks.
