Sátan, Iceland's rising force in the metal festival scene, has unveiled the next wave of artists for its 2026 edition. Returning for its third year, the festival will take place June 4 through 6, 2026, in the coastal town of Stykkishólmur on the scenic Snæfellsnes peninsula.
The newest additions to the lineup include Icelandic heavyweights Sign, black metal innovators Misþyrming, and the ferocious Barnaveiki. They join previously announced acts like Dimma, Hamferð, Skitsystem, and Necrowretch, with more artists still to come. Passes are available now at the festival's official site.
Fresh off the success of its 2025 edition, Sátan continues its mission to spotlight Iceland’s diverse and thriving metal scene alongside a carefully curated selection of international talent. The three-day festival prides itself on inclusivity, zero tolerance for violence, and fostering a welcoming environment for all. The 2026 lineup thus far is:
