Black Sabbath officially wrapped up their legendary career on July 5 with one final, unforgettable performance featuring all four original members: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. The farewell concert, held at Villa Park in Birmingham, marked the end of an era for the band that gave birth to heavy metal as we know it.
But before Black Sabbath and Ozzy took the stage for their emotional goodbye, a massive lineup of rock and metal heavyweights delivered their own sets in tribute — and nearly every band included at least one Black Sabbath cover to honor the night’s headliners.
From Metallica and Tool to Lamb of God and Guns N’ Roses, these performances weren't just sets – they were love letters to the gods of metal. I've compiled every live Black Sabbath cover performed during the Back To The Beginning concert, and you can check them all out below.
