Chimaira is bringing back their Christmas show for the first time since 2017 and it's already shaping up to be heavy as shit. Chimaira is set to headline Chimaira Christmas on December 20 at The Agora in Cleveland, OH alongside openers 200 Stabwounds and Nunslaughter. Tickets go on sale June 18.
Chiamira also recently launched their own record label and announced a reissue their 2005 self-titled album.
In a post-announcement post on X, Chimaira vocalist Mark Hunter said: "I appreciate that so many were hoping for new music. That is not off the table… Your support for this release ensures we can continue to be self-reliant and create more art. Don't be disappointed. Look at the big picture! Thank you so much to all that bought day one!"
The reissue is completely remastered and features the bonus tracks "Threnody", a cover of Metallica's "Disposable Heroes", and covers of Ascension's "Clayden" and "Malignant". Get it here.
Whenever that happens, it'll be the first new Chimaira material since their 2013 record Crown Of Phantoms. In the meantime, you can catch Chimaira at one of their few festival appearances (and Christmas show) at one of the dates below.
