The Acacia Strain has once again teamed up with producer Randy LeBoeuf for whatever they're working on right now. LeBoeuf produced The Acacia Strain's recent efforts Step Into The Light, Failure Will Follow, Slow Decay, and Gravebloom so this isn't a surprising choice.
The Acacia Strain vocalist Vincent Bennett talked a little about the new record on Instagram, saying: "Thank you, Randy. My duties for record 13(!?) are officially done. This one took a lot out of me. During the writing and recording process I felt the full gamut of emotions.
"I was back and forth to the studio what feels like 100 times. Fortunately Randy was there with me every step of the way – the acacia strain wouldn’t be where we are right now without him. I am confident we have done more than we expected, and I am happy with what came out on the other side. I laughed, I cried (literally during certain vocal takes), I went sicko mode, and I ate airheads. It’s angry, it’s sad, it’s a little ridiculous; it’s pure TAS.

The Acacia Strain is about to hit the road with Frozen Soul, Gates To Hell, Your Spirit Dies, and Maul. The tour begins moshing your flesh and bones into a fine paste on May 2 at AMH in Amityville, NY and wraps up at Red Flag in St. Louis, MO before hitting Milwaukee Metal Fest the next day.
