Unless you were living under a rock in 2024, you know that Charlie XCX's latest record Brat was the record of the summer. I mean seriously, did anyone on this planet not hear the phrase "Brat summer" at least once last year? That record was inescapable.
Then during her Coachella performance, Charlie XCX declared that summer 2025 was going to be Turnstile summer. Which I'm sure the band was absolutely thrilled about, considering their new record Never Enough comes out June 6 and summer officially begins on June 20. So we'll see if Turnstile Summer 2025 happens, but it was certainly cool to see Charlie XCX giving a shoutout to the hardcore world.
As for Turnstile, they're now back to a five-piece featuring vocalist Brendan Yates, guitarists Pat McCrory and Meg Mills, bassist Franz Lyons, and drummer Daniel Fang. Pre-orders for Never Enough are available here. You can also catch Turnstile at one of their festival appearances below.
