DEPECHE MODE To Release Full-Length Film Titled, Depeche Mode: M

UK electro-rock group Depeche Mode have just announced that they will be releasing a full-length film titled, Depeche Mode: M, which will feature live footage from their 2023 shows in Mexico City, Mexico.

Consisting of footage from the three sold-out shows at Sol Stadium, the film uses on the parallels between Depeche Mode's widely acclaimed 15th studio release, Momento Memori, and its themes of life and death alongside the prevalence of the same themes in Mexican culture.

Discussing those themes opens the door for discussions about the profound journey of Depeche Mode, and their fans, have been on over the last 40 years.

Conceptualized and directed by award-winning filmmaker Fernando Frias, the film comes after the intense critical and commercial success of the Momento Mori record.

The film is due to premiere in cinemas later this year.
