The Indianapolis location of Kuma's Corner has pulled their Disturbed cocktail and burger due to what they're calling "the discovery of recent events." Maybe Kuma's Corner finally heard that cover of "The Sound Of Silence" and, after shoving pencils into their ears so they'd never have to hear it again, pulled the promo?
A statement from the brand reads: "After the discovery of recent events, we here at Kuma's Corner Indy have decided to pull the Disturbed burger and cocktail promotion scheduled to run this weekend. We sincerely apologize this oversight on our end and the values expressed by this band are not a representation of Kuma's as a brand. We are using this as an opportunity to expand our research further for future band collaborations. Thank you to our loyal customers for bringing these concerns to our attention."
Disturbed hasn't gotten themselves into any hot water recently, though I'm guessing this has something to do with Disturbed frontman David Draiman's extremely outspoken support of Israel – just look at any comments section on the band's social media and you'll see this has been pretty divisive.
Disturbed is out on the road for their 25th anniversary tour of The Sickness with Daughtry and Nothing More. Each night will feature two sets of music, opening with Disturbed playing The Sickness in full, followed by a full set of greatest hits. Tickets are available here. Burgers are available nowhere.
