It feels like at the beginning of every year, there's a brand new artist on everyone's lips. 2023, it was Bad Omens. 2024, it was Knocked Loose. 2025, mark my words, will belong to Spiritbox.
Achieving unworldly heights both sonically and socially in the first three months of 2025, Spiritbox have all but succeeded in metal-world domination. After an incredibly successful 2024, the band was not only nominated for the Best Metal Performance at the Grammys in November (where frontwoman Courtney LaPlante made headlines as Poppy), but also announced their second studio album.
Their second studio album, Tsunami Sea, was released Friday, March 7th.
Having already received critical acclaim from publications like DORK, The Guardian, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, and NME, the band are gearing up for another excellent year.
Including numerous festival appearances at rock staples like Rock im Park, Rock am Ring, Rock for People and Louder Than Life, Spiritbox are on their way to be the most viral band of the year.
