Sleep Token is going all in on teasing their upcoming record. First they dropped an elaborate puzzle on their website, which required you to find some hidden coordinates and decipher some historical trivia. Now it seems that Sleep Token has launched a hidden Instagram account called featheredhost (with a bio that reads "The cycle must end") that's sending Sleep Token fans sheet music for what I'm assuming is new music.
Other than that, we're still in the dark about when new Sleep Token is coming – but clearly it is, given the heavy amount of teasing the band is doing. All we know for sure is that Download Festival boss Andy Copping said in late 2024 that a new Sleep Token record should be out by the time the band headlines the festival this June.
"We're already on album number three and album number four should be out by the time Download comes around. It's going to be a meteoric rise for them across the globe, not just the UK. I think that they'll just do something super special there and smash it."
Interestingly, if you go back to that NME interview with Copping from November 2024, they edited his quote to now read: "Very tough question, but it's going to be Sleep Token. To see them headlining a major festival for the first time is so exciting for me. It's going to be a meteoric rise for them across the globe, not just the UK. I think that they'll just do something super special there and smash it." So clearly Copping might've spilled the beans a little too soon.
