The journals of legendary Alice In Chains vocalist Layne Staley will be published for the first time ever this November as a collection named This Angry Pen: The Lost Journals Of Layne Staley. The collection features handwritten lyrics, poetry, original artwork, rare photos, fan tributes, and more. Basically if you're a fan of Alice In Chains – or just obsessed with the mystique that surrounds the legacy of Staley – this is a dream come true.
Staley was a founding member of Alice In Chains, who actually took their name from Staley's previous band Alice N' Chains. Staley was found dead in his Seattle condominium on April 19, 2002 after dying from a mixture of heroin and cocaine overdose two weeks prior.
