Candice Night has announced her long-awaited solo album return with Sea Glass, set for release on 25 April 2025 via earMUSIC, marking her first solo release in ten years. The first single, Angel And Jezebel, is out now, showcasing Night’s signature blend of musical storytelling.
Sea Glass features the song Angel And Jezebel in two versions, highlighting the diverse sonic landscapes Candice explores on the album. Best known as the voice and multi-instrumentalist of Blackmore’s Night, Candice Night steps into the spotlight with a collection of songs deeply inspired by her personal journey, life’s challenges, and the ever-evolving experiences of family and love.
“We go through so much in life,” Candice Night told us, reflecting the themes of the new album. “We break, we shatter, our pieces tossed and tumbled by forces all around us, smoothing our edges, teaching us lessons. And though some pieces may be lost, most return to be changed, different, worn by time, and yet… brilliant treasures in who we have become.”
Sea Glass – A Blend of Rock, Acoustic, and Storytelling
Sea Glass incorporates elements of rock, country, and acoustic pop. Alongside Angel And Jezebel, the album features Unsung Hero (She’ll Never Tell), a delicate yet powerful acoustic piece, and The Last Goodbye, which features none other than Ritchie Blackmore on guitar.
Another standout track, Promise Me, highlights the bond between parents and children, featuring contributions from Candice’s son and daughter. Sea Glass also includes a rendition of the classic Nature Boy, reinterpreted through Candice’s own artistic lens.
