Maid Of Stone Festival is shaping up to be one of the most exciting festivals on the UK calendar, as the second wave of 18 bands has been announced for 2025. Taking place from 18th – 20th July 2025 in Mote Park, Maidstone, this festival promises a weekend packed with legendary acts and rising stars in an unparalleled rock experience.
“I’ve experienced the whole gamut of emotions putting this lineup together,” excited festival booker Chris Wright told us, “but it’s something I’m incredibly proud of. This really is our year to excel, and we can’t wait to welcome you all to the park.”
Richie Kotzen to Headline Friday Night
Guitar maestro Richie Kotzen will headline Friday, 18th July, bringing his signature fusion of rock, blues, and funk to Mote Park. Known for his solo career and work with The Winery Dogs and Smith/Kotzen (alongside Iron Maiden’s Adrian Smith), Kotzen’s spellbinding guitar work will set the stage for an unforgettable opening night.
Joining him on Friday are H.E.A.T, the Swedish melodic rockers, and Quireboys, led by Spike. Myke Gray, the guitarist behind Skin and Jagged Edge, is making a grand return after a brief hiatus, performing classic hits with a supergroup of musicians, while US rockers Any Given Sin will make their UK debut, delivering a hard-hitting set for the Maid Of Stone crowd.
Saturday Highlights – Black Stone Cherry, Ugly Kid Joe, Fury, and More
The Saturday lineup sees Black Stone Cherry bringing their powerhouse show to Kent, as previously announced. Supporting them are the legendary Ugly Kid Joe. Rising UK rockers Fury make their return to the festival, stepping up to the Main Stage to support their new album.
Meanwhile, over on the Second Stage, the high-energy Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse will deliver their infectious brand of rock ‘n’ roll.
This year, there will be enhanced festival amenities, meaning more real ales, an expanded merch range, and improved facilities. A VIP experience upgrade will feature exclusive acoustic sets from major artists (to be revealed soon).
Local Talent and Rising Stars
The festival continues to support up-and-coming rock acts, with Kent-based Big River joining the lineup alongside Bobbie Dazzle, Parker Barrow (making their UK debut), This House We Built, and Gorilla Riot—who will headline the Second Stage on Friday. Fresh talent We Three Kings will also make their festival debut. Two more local Kent bands will be announced soon.
