Mission Jupiter have been joined by powerhouse vocalist Kate Varsak and have just released their second single, Human Nature. If the band, from Minsk, Belarus, have previously been marked as one most likely to achieve global recognition, then judging by the two singles so far, the addition of Varsak has increased their chances tenfold.
Human Nature has been released with a film shot by the Minsk Sea in late 2024 that has enhanced the Bond-like allure of the song. With the observation that “people tend to be divided and not look beyond their own doorstep”, the band say that this is a “major problem” that is reflected in the dark mood of the song.
“This song asks if we are able to be less selfish and greedy,” Mission Jupiter told us, “to try and overcome this typical aspect of human nature, or at the very least attempt to be better?”
The new album Aftermath, scheduled for release in the spring, is packed with further gems and will appeal to fans of alternative and hard rock, progressive rock and Metal.
There is also a track called Jak Spyniajecca Bol, which translates to How The Pain Stops, which blends Eurovision-esque crossover rock with a Cocteau Twins twist.
Aftermath is sure to excite, leaving you swamped by wonderful moods and melodies driven by guitarist Vlad Shvakel and drummer Eugene Zuyeu, all wrapped around a stunning female voice.
