Dee Snider, who has remained relatively quiet on social media since the U.S. elections, recently commented on his absence. He hinted that his silence might persist until he reveals a new project he’s working on.

“Since I don’t watch the news, I’m not ready to unveil my latest project; and I’m happy…I really don’t have anything to post these days,” the singer wrote in a tweet.

Snider’s last solo album, ‘Leave A Scar,’ was released in May 2021. The record was produced by Jamey Jasta, with Nick Bellmore handling the mixing and mastering. The album also featured Cannibal Corpse’s Corpsegrinder on the track ‘Time To Choose.’

Following its release, Snider shared he was done with solo records. “Don’t hold your breath, because I’m feeling like I’m done,” he told RockPages.gr last year.

“I’m feeling like I’m done. Now I said that after ‘For The Love Of Metal’ [2018], and then COVID hit and I called Jamey up and Jamey Jasta said, ‘I wanna do another record.’ But right now I’m feeling very comfortable in who I am, what I am, what I’m doing and how I’m spending my life. I’m not feeling this urge.”

Despite stepping back from solo albums, Snider collaborated with Carmine Appice and Dug Pinnick earlier this year on Cactus’ ‘Temple of Blues – Influences & Friends.’
