Atreyu fans have plenty to look forward to as the band juggles touring, anniversary celebrations, and the groundwork for a new album. In a recent interview with The Underground Australia, vocalist Brandon Saller shared insights into the band's busy schedule and their plans for a follow-up to 2023's The Beautiful Dark Of Life, which apparently won't arrive before 2026
"We've already started," Saller revealed, referring to the songwriting process. "We've done a handful of writing trips kind of around the world."
However, he tempered expectations about when fans might hear new material. "Next year, we're doing, obviously, ShipRocked cruise in January. We're going to South America for the first time. We're doing The Curse tour – celebrating the 21st anniversary of the band's 2004 sophomore album – in Australia. We're doing The Curse tour in U.K. and Europe. So it's planning to be really busy. But a lot of Curse stuff, and then I would say new music realistically maybe by the end of the year next year, but probably more so '26."
The band's commitment to The Curse celebrations is significant. On October 18, they marked the 20th anniversary of the gold-certified album with a full-album performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California, underscoring the enduring impact of the album, which sold over half a million copies and effectively catapulted Atreyu to global fame.
Atreyu is set to hit the road across Europe next September and October to celebrate the 21st birthday of their record The Curse. The tour kicks off on September 27 at SWX in Bristol, UK, and wraps up on October 20 at Gruenspan in Hamburg, Germany. Tickets are available here.
