Christopher Jarecki made a name as the frontman of S.T.U.N. (which stands for ‘Scream Towards the Uprising of Nonconformity’) and husband of actress Alicia Silverstone in the early 2000s. But following his breakup with both the band and Silverstone, he disappeared from the public eye.

Jarecki started playing guitar and singing at a young age and pursued music seriously after graduating high school in 1995, per The Cityceleb. He attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, where he met many future collaborators: guitarist Neil Spies, vocalist Christiane J., bassist Nick S., and drummer Bobby Alt (per Allmusic).
Together, they formed S.T.U.N. and toured with well-known acts like Marilyn Manson and Jane’s Addiction. Their only album, ‘Evolution of Energy,’ came out in 2003 under Geffen Records. The band disbanded later that year due to creative differences.

Jarecki continued to create music after the band split. In 2009, he formed a new group called the Bathroom Murders. Their album ‘Anarchiso’ featured contributions from well-known artists like Tom Morello and Serj Tankian, The Cityceleb further wrote. The band played at venues like the Viper Room and the Roxy; they participated in events like Rock Against Bush.
The singer also got into radio hosting, creating a show called ‘A Musical Journey with Christopher Jarecki,’ where guests shared songs that shaped their lives. Additionally, he made small appearances in films and TV shows such as ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and ‘The Tripper.’

As for his personal life, Jarecki married actress Alicia Silverstone on June 11, 2005, at a vegan and eco-friendly ceremony at Lake Tahoe, Celebrity Bride Guide reported at the time. Around 135 guests attended the event, including actor Woody Harrelson. The barefoot couple exchanged vows on a private beach; later, they celebrated around a campfire (via People).
The couple shared a vegan lifestyle; they had one son, Bear Blu Jarecki, born in 2011, according to The Cityceleb. They were active in animal rights causes and occasionally worked together in films and TV shows like ‘Stormbreaker’ and ‘The Lodge.’
The End Of A 20-Year Relationship

The couple announced their breakup after 20 years together, including nearly 13 years of marriage, in 2018. People reported irreconcilable differences as the reason and wrote that they agreed to co-parent their son. According to another report from USA Today, Silverstone was ordered to pay Jarecki $12,000 per month in spousal support until January 2024.
Despite their divorce, Jarecki and Silverstone have maintained a positive relationship. “Bear and his daddy and I flow really well together,” the actress once told Today. She even posted a family shot at Christmas on Instagram in 2022.
Apart from Silverstone’s occasional updates, though, there’s no sign of what Jarecki is up to these days.
