In a recent Ask Sixx on X, Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx was asked if he and bandmate Tommy Lee would ever create a podcast together. A fan suggested they could name it something like ‘Terror Twins Pod.’

However, Sixx seemed uninterested in the idea, likely due to his long experience with radio. He responded, “After doing a radio show for 8 years I know I just don’t have the time in my life right now.”

Sixx had previously decided to step down as host of his radio show ‘Sixx Sense’ after nearly eight years on air. He released a 21-minute video recap in late 2017, highlighting moments from the show’s run.

“When ‘Sixx Sense’ began, it was our mission to not only entertain you but to make you think, cry and, yes, on occasion, cringe. Thank you for taking this journey with us, and allowing us to be part of your life,” the show’s producers said. Sixx’s final broadcast aired on December 31, 2017.

‘Sixx Sense’ became the most popular syndicated rock show in the U.S., reaching over 130 stations and attracting nearly three million global listeners each week. During its run, Sixx hosted many musicians, celebrities, and figures, including Sir Paul McCartney, Slash, Steven Tyler, Metallica, Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton, Mike Tyson, Cameron Crowe, Dr. Oz, and more.

The show also helped launch new music, introducing up-and-coming artists to a wider audience.
