SADUS Part Ways With Drummer JON ALLEN After Allegations Of Domestic Abuse

Sadus have announced they have parted ways with drummer Jon Allen (pictured on the left in the top photo) after videos appeared online that allegedly show the 56 year old physically abusing his partner Brandy Mae Collins.

Frontman Darren Travis shared a statement on social media announced the firing of Allen: “Upon recent allegations of misconduct.. Sadus will be parting ways with Jon Allen.. I do not condone any type of malicious behavior towards any person.”

Sadus is currently on a European tour with Obituary. Collins was hospitalized earlier this week for a kidney transplant and for alleged abuse by Travis. She alleges Allen has an alcohol addiction and contacted Travis to help the drummer go into rehabilitation, however that message for help was ignored. 

Collins’ friend Devin Reiche, member of Anbuis, shared graphic video and photos that allegedly show Allen abusing Collins. The post is available on Facebook.

Sadus released their latest album, The Shadow Inside, in November 2023 via Nuclear Blast. The band is no longer associated with the label.
