DRAGONFORCE, DESTRUCTION To Headline 2025 Edition Of RV Bang Festival

For twenty years, Balingen was home to Bang Your Head, until the pandemic and the untimely death of the festival organizer prematurely ended the event.

Now, a local group seeks to reactivate the quaint German city as a summer festival destination. The folks behind the rock club Balinger Rockverein (a non-profit, founded in 1989, to support local music/bands), have expanded RV Bang to a two-day weekend, for the first time (July 11-12), as well as a warm-up, the night before. Keeping to their mission, the daily, nine-band line-up boasts emerging local acts, as well as internationally recognized talent. 

Friday will headlined by Dragonforce, but other highlights include Vicious Rumors, Shakra, Burning Witches, ex-Accept/Victory guitarist Herman Frank performing a career retrospective set and The New Roses. 

Saturday's headliner is the legendary teutonic thrashers, Destruction, with support from a ton of German favorites, including Grave Digger, Mystic Prophecy, War Kings and Traitor.
