Kid Rock recently addressed rumors about a possible role in Donald Trump’s new cabinet on X.
“People keep asking if I have a spot in President Trump’s cabinet….I do….Head of The Liquor Cabinet!! Kid Rock,” he wrote in his post.
There are rumors suggesting that Trump will appoint several supporters to key positions. Among those selected are Karoline Leavitt as press secretary, Doug Burgum as head of the Interior Department, and Todd Blanche as the second-highest-ranking official at the Justice Department.
D. John Sauer will take the role of solicitor general, and Doug Collins will head the Department of Veterans Affairs. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is set to be secretary of Health and Human Services, while Matt Gaetz will be attorney general.
Although it’s not confirmed, Marco Rubio might be appointed as secretary of state, and Kristi Noem could have a position as well. Tulsi Gabbard is rumored to be the director of national intelligence, while Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE).
“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies — Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement,” Trump said about Musk and Ramaswamy.
Following the election, Kid Rock urged peace and unity in a video on social media. “First off, let me convey to my family, friends, and supporters that now is not the time to gloat,” he stated. “We must remember that most of our left-leaning friends are good people, who want the same things in life as we do, but simply think differently on how to get there.”
He then shared clips of small-town America, his concert, and the failed assassination attempt on Trump in July. Rock added, “It is now time to be the bigger man, to extend an olive branch and unite all reasonable people of this great nation. God has blessed America, and together with President Trump, we will make America great again.”
Trump defeated Kamala Harris to win a second non-consecutive term as president. Kid Rock has been a long-time supporter of Trump.
