PRIDIAN Share New Single And Video "idoldust"

After announcing their signing with Century Media Records in September and releasing the single “Near Dark”, Estonian metalcore quartet, Pridian, are keeping up the momentum with their latest track, “idoldust”, from their forthcoming album. Stream/download the single here, and watch a video below.

Characterized by atmospheric depth and intense dynamics, the single highlights Pridian’s versatility while further shaping the unique sound listeners can expect from the band in the near future. Their record, which will mark the band’s second full-length album, is set to be released sometime in spring 2025. The album follows Pridian’s 2023 EP Cybergnosis.

The band shares about "idoldust”: "'idoldust' is about the human tendency to glorify external symbols of power, without realizing that the monuments and figures are mere reflections of their creators, and that true strength is found within each individual.”

The single "idoldust," mixed and mastered by Matt Thomas, follows Pridian’s previous release, "Near Dark". Released in September, "Near Dark" marked the band’s debut with their new label, Century Media Records. You can check out the video for their first single below:

Founded 2018 in Tartu, Estonia, Pridian channels the intensity of their experiences and emotions into a distinctive sound defined by dark, heavy grooves, commanding vocals, and cinematic melodies enhanced with electronic elements. Their debut album, The Rotten Unknown (released in 2021 under the name ÆØNS), earned a Metal Album of the Year nomination at the Estonian Music Awards. Building on this success, Pridian released the EP Cybergnosis in 2023, and signed with label Century Media Records in September 2024.
