Thy Art Is Murder is set to release a new single called "Through Blood I Purify" on November 6. Whether that means a new album is coming as well remains to be seen, but hey – new Thy Art Is Murder is coming.

The more interesting angle about the new single is that it's (presumably) the first Thy Art Is Murder music written with new vocalist Tyler Miller in mind. For those who might've forgotten, Thy Art Is Murder released their new album Godlike in September 2023 with all the vocals from former vocalist CJ McMahon replaced by Miller's vocals. The original pressings of the CDs and vinyl have McMahon's vocals, while all newer pressings (and the digital versions) having Miller's vocals.

To recap – Thy Art Is Murder fired McMahon on September 22 and revealed they had removed his vocals from their new album Godlike. According to a statement from Thy Art Is Murder, the firing was partially due to McMahon's recent anti-trans comments (for which he sorta apologized), which they note were only a symptom of a larger problem. Miller confirmed he was Thy Art Is Murder's new vocalist that October.

Thy Art Is Murder will hit the road with Parkway Drive for their 20th anniversary tour in late 2025. The tour kicks off on September 19, 2025 at the Quarterback Immobilien Arena in Leipzig, Germany and wraps up on November 16 at the KB Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tickets are available here.
