Ronnie Radke voiced his criticism of the When We Were Young festival lineup on X.
“Lmao. This is why I won’t play this sh*t ever,” the Falling In Reverse frontman said, sharing the festival’s complete lineup.
One user echoed Radke’s sentiment, commenting, “Not impressed with this lineup tbh.” Another user seemed puzzled by the rocker’s comments, asking, “What’s the problem?”
Radke has been quite active on social media lately. He recently made a joke about his critics on X, referencing Spiritbox, and humorously asked fans to stop bullying him, stating he couldn’t handle it anymore. In response, someone suggested, “We’re going to need to send out a wellness check for Ronnie.”
“I’m not doing well mentally, I wish I was as confident as these werewolf sigmas that have been bullying me. Idk what I’m gonna do from here. It has mentally broken me knowing they hate me,” the vocalist replied.
Another fan wrote, “Dude I don’t know if this is satire cause it’s kinda hard to tell with you at times but take a break if you need to, we love and appreciate you and we’ll have your back man. The real fans will.”
“We’re here to support you and your career and that won’t change for a long while no matter how many dumb idiots get it in their head to attempt to drag your name and reputation through the mud. You’re a good guy and you deserve peace. The few times I’ve met you despite being trans and gay you’ve been nothing but kind. Love you man, stay safe,” they added.
Radke responded, “It’s not satire, I am broken. nothing pains me more than walking up seeing an anime profile pic account making fun of me. Just because I am the highest selling, tickets merch, and streams rock band right now sitting in a mansion flying in private jets with exotic birds and actual normal fans doesn’t mean I don’t let a pronoun neurodivergent autistic furry get me down.”
“I am crushed and really care what they/them think of me and wish they’d like me, even though they can’t afford to even come to my shows anyway. I wish they’d like me like they like Spiritbox. Even though I am 7 times bigger than them. It’s soul-crushing,” Ronnie continued.
Falling In Reverse’s European tour is set to begin on November 7 in Lisbon, Portugal, with performances scheduled in Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and more.
