Scott Weiland’s son Noah has been receiving threatening voicemails from a person his father was ‘cool’ with his dad.

The singer took to his Instagram stories to expose the voicemail and shared a hint as to who it might be.

“You’re f*cking dumb, dude. And if you’re on drugs right now, get the f*ck off the drugs ’cause you’re acting just like your f*cking dad,” said the person who sent the voicemail. “Just like your dad. What that means is, you’ll be dead pretty soon if you keep acting like him. Get off the f*cking drugs you *sshole.”

In his next story, Noah shared a hint about the person and asked his followers to guess who it was. The statement he shared was a Doug Grean shared earlier. Grean is the producer and guitarist who worked with both Scott and Stone Temple Pilots.

“So end of September, there is a new unheard Scott Weiland song being released as an NFT,” his statement read. “This is the song he didn’t finish and I had his son Noah Weiland finish the parts Scott never sang. So it’s a father-son duet – they each wrote their lyrics separately years apart but it came together and became its own new beautiful thing. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it.”

Noah has been under attack by his father’s team for some time now. After revealing how much his father was in financial debt when he passed away, he was blackmailed by someone who had an old version of a song featuring Scott’s vocals. Even after the blackmail, the singer decided to release the song but he still kept receiving blackmail from his father’s team.

The team has been trying to report the song to get it taken down, but it’s still active on streaming platforms.
