Corey Taylor’s wife Alicia Dove recently called out the guitarist of newly emerging Destroy Boys on X for insulting her appearance:
“Violet Mayugba from Destroy Boys had a lot of sh*t to talk: She thinks I’m ugly and how could Corey [Taylor] ever be with someone that looks like me. What I do is stupid/doesn’t matter/isn’t anything special. Hmmm… wonder why this girl almost half my age is so obsessed with me?”
She also commented on Mayugba, who started the young rock band with Alexia Roditis in 2015:
“Shut your pimple covered doughy hairy flat a** up and keep my name out your thin-lipped mouth.”
The Guitarist Failed To ‘Break Us Up,’ Dove Comments
Alicia Dove is a dancer. She worked as part of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons cheerleading squad and met her husband during that period. So, a fan wrote under Dove’s initial tweet:
“What you do is extremely hard and requires a lot of practice! I can’t stand when people discredit women because they aren’t doing what feminists/women ‘should’ be doing! Also, hello, you’re also HOT? These people are tripping.”
She replied:
“It’s almost like she tried to break us up and failed miserably or something.”
The Taylors Have A Private Relationship
Dove and Taylor made their relationship public in 2018 and got married the next year. They have kept their personal life mostly private since then. The dancer once mentioned that Taylor even avoided taking photos with fans when they were out together. She shared on X last year:
“Some people would call my husband a d**k for not stopping to take photos when we are out together. He does that because we are apart so much; he leaves us at home to be with fans. When we are together, we want that time for us. Family time (be it with kids or just us) is family time.”
Taylor is gearing up for a new Slipknot tour now. The band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album from August to late December.
