LORDI - New Album Complete: "It Has More Balls And It's Not As Hair Metal-y As Screem Writer's Guild" (Video)

The Chaoszine clip below features Lordi frontman / founder Mr. Lordi discussing the band's plans for this year and their upcoming album.

On Lordi's new album, to be released in early 2025:

"We recorded the new album mainly before the tour started, and that was in March. So, 99.9% of the album was recorded before the tour, then we had that 1% to record after the tour, and we did. So, it's already done, mixed and mastered, hence why we are doing the new costumes and masks now. I wanted to continue on the same track (as previous album, Screem Writer's Guild); it's clearly a sister album, or brother album. Some people have said it's a little bit harder, that it has more balls and it's not as hair metal-y. I think that's a fair analysis."

40 spectacles in 14 countries across the continent: Finnish hard rock / metal group, Lordi, are about to start haunting Europe with the eerily beautiful with tunes that can be found on their current album Screem Writers Guild.

In anticipation of the upcoming shows, the quintet have announced two support bands: Joining the monster trek from March 14 until May 3 (excl. Austrian festival dates) are German based heavy metal defenders All For Metal, while opening act Supreme Unbeing will take the crowds to their own world beyond reality on March 14-17 as well as from April 6 until May 4 (excl. Austrian festival dates). Become a part of Lordi's extensive Unliving Pictour Show 2024 and secure your tickets / VIP packages now.
