Darkest Hour is set to return for the first time since 2017 with a brand new single due out November 14! No word on if this will come with a new album announcement as well, but Darkest Hour clearly has one ready to go. So here's hoping, right?
The new Darkest Hour material will be their first-ever with guitarist Nico Santora, who replaced longtime guitarist Michael Carrigan back in 2021.
"New Darkest Hour is Finally Here: Our first single is on the way November 14th to all streaming services!" wrote the band. "The official music video will premier on our very own DarkestHourDudes YouTube channel! Make sure to follow us on both YouTube and Spotify, as well as other streaming services so you hear it as soon as it drops: Link [here]."
You can also catch Darkest Hour on the road with Exodus, Fit For An Autopsy, and Undeath starting next week as well. Get those dates here.
Darkest Hour recently signed to MNRK Heavy for their new album since 2017, which guitarist Mike Schleibaum is clearly stoked about.
"We are beyond excited to announce our partnership with MNRK HEAVY!" said Schleibaum. "We have been working for years with members of their team on various other projects and know they will help give our new album the worldwide release it deserves. We have always strived to bring our unique blend of thrash, metal, hardcore, and punk to the largest audience possible, and with the massive reach of MNRK, we are confident and ready to begin the next chapter of our band's story."
All we know is that the new record was tracked at Mix Wave studios in Bethesda MD, with Taylor Larson and Ernie Slenkovich.
