Bruce Dickinson will bring his Mandrake Project to the Rockharz festival in Germany next year. The 31st edition of this welcoming open-air festival is set to take place from 3-6 July 2024 at the scenic Ballenstedt airfield nestled in the picturesque Harz Mountains.
“For many years, we have been hoping to be able to present such a legendary artist as Bruce Dickinson on the Rockharz stages one day,” festival organizer Thorsten ‘Buddy’ Kohlrausch told MetalTalk. “Now this dream comes true! And not only that! We will be the only festival in Germany where Bruce will perform with The Mandrake Project. Thanks to the universe for this unique opportunity and this accolade for our festival!”
The creative force behind Iron Maiden, Dickinson and his band, will commemorate this release exclusively beneath the imposing Devil’s Wall. This iconic landmark, steeped in history in the Harz region, holds a special place in the hearts of Rockharz attendees. It serves as the backdrop for the sole festival performance in Germany this year, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.
Joining Hammerfall, Kreator and Dickinson, four more highlights have been confirmed for next year in Amaranthe, Callejon, Benediction and Kanonenfieber.
For those who have yet to secure their tickets, there’s a glimmer of hope. On Friday, October 20, at 5 p.m. CEST, the Rockharz online store will swing its doors open once more when the final batch of returned tickets will be made available in the store. Acting swiftly might prove advantageous, as this could be the ultimate opportunity for latecomers to snag a coveted ticket for Rockharz 2024.
