Art of Anarchy is gearing up for the release of their third studio album, ‘Let There Be Anarchy.’ In a recent interview with Robert Cavuoto of My Global Mind Online Magazine, co-guitarist and co-producer Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal offered insights into the band’s new direction and influences.

During the conversation, Thal likened the album’s sound to that of the ‘Big Four’ metal bands, suggesting that fans can expect those characteristic heavy guitar riffs in their latest work:

“For people who are familiar with the past albums, it’s a little more like the first album musically. I always call it like Big Four, you know, Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax, like those kinds of guitar riffs in there. But with Jeff Scott Soto singing, which brings more of this radio-friendly kind of vibe to it, it’s sort of a mix between the two. It has old-school metal influences and inspirations.”

According to Cavuto, who described it as a heavy, dark track with progressive undertones, the new single ‘Vilified’ already gives a taste of this direction.

Art of Anarchy’s debut album, released in 2015, featured the late Scott Weiland. 2017 marked a pause in the band’s journey, but three years later, in 2020, Art of Anarchy returned to the studio. The band began writing new material and eventually invited Jeff Scott Soto to join the ranks.
