MetalTalk’s very own Sara Harding will join Vanessa Warwick in hosting the new TV show Heavy Metal HeyDaze, dedicated to rock and Metal music. Sara is known for producing MTV’s Access All Areas, and Vanessa hosted Headbangers Ball on MTV during the 1990s.
“We are thrilled to be back bringing Metal to the masses,” MetalTalk legend and Music TV Producer Sara Harding said. “Vanessa Warwick is a music TV legend and to have her back on our screens is epic. In the series, Vanessa takes us through her incredible MTV Metal memories with a rock playlist like no other, from Sabaton to Slipknot.
“This is the first TV series in decades totally dedicated to all things rock and Metal, and I’m so happy to have produced the whole shebang. Devil horns at the ready as this show really rocks.”
Available from 17 September on the Staccs TV channel on Samsung TV+ and Pluto TV only in the Nordics, Heavy Metal HeyDaze will take viewers on an access-all-areas tour through the Metal and rock music videos and concert recordings.
“I’m so excited to be back on screen with Heavy Metal HeyDaze on Staccs TV,” Vanessa Warwick told us. “It’s a walk down memory lane to those brilliant days of Headbangers Ball. But more than just an ode to the past, it’s a new opportunity to showcase the very best of Metal and rock that Staccs offers and take fans closer to the music than ever before.
“Fans are the heart and soul of rock music, and I’ve got high hopes Staccs will be in top demand with its brilliant programming. Gone are the days of staying up late to watch these shows or having to record episodes on VHS, as Staccs can offer this rocking content on demand. Keep it heavy!”
The show promises to take a deep dive into the world of Metal and rock, from exclusive live performances, documentaries, interviews and the most rocking videos from a curated Staccs playlist handpicked by Vanessa. Heavy Metal HeyDaze will be a one-stop TV shop for all things rock.
Brand new episodes of Heavy Metal HeyDaze will be released each month, with repeats airing every Tuesday at 9 PM CET on the Staccs TV channel and staccs.com.
Episodes will be available to watch in the UK in the near future.
“It’s an absolute honour to welcome Vanessa Warwick to Staccs TV with this awesome format,” Robert Kviby, CEO and Chairman of Staccs, told us. “Fans of Metal and rock in the ’90s will be able to make an epic time travel.”
