Former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing's new band, KK's Priest - featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens (vocals), along with A.J. Mills (guitar), Tony Newton (bass) and Sean Elg (drums) - recently kicked off a string of tour dates in Europe. Speaking with The Metal Voice, Owens commented on the overwhelming positive respone the band has received.
Owens: "It's been unbelievable. I think if anybody's read the reviews or saw anything on it, it's been incredible. It's a costly show and it's a great show, but we've been on fire. We've gotten better with every show, as you would. Coming out of the gate like that, you're a new lineup and doing it. But it's been really, really great. I'm singing as good as I've sang my whole life at this moment. It's a lot of fun; we're having a lot of fun up there."
KK's Priest performed in Villena, Spain at the Leyendas Del Rock Festival on August 9th. Fan-filmed video of the entire show can be viewed below.
